Who we are

followOS Email is an email-marketing service for small businesses, operated by follow Inc. Questions about this policy: info@follow-inc.com.

What we collect

From you (the business owner): your account email and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), your business details from onboarding, your website address, and the content we read from your public website to build your brand profile, imagery, and product catalog.

From your customer list: the contact data you import or sync — typically email addresses, names, and order history. You attest that these contacts gave you permission to email them before importing.

From email activity: delivery, open, click, bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe events for emails sent through the service, used to report performance to you and to protect deliverability.

What we do with it

We use this data to run the service: generating campaigns and flows in your brand, sending email you approve, computing your audiences, and reporting results to you. We use third-party AI providers to generate email content and imagery; the business context sent to them is used to produce your content, not to advertise to anyone.

What we never do

Your contact list is yours. We never sell it, rent it, share it with other customers, or email it for any purpose other than campaigns and flows you approve. We never sell or share your business data.

Unsubscribes and suppression

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribed and complaining contacts are permanently suppressed and never emailed again through our service, even if re-imported.

Service providers

We rely on infrastructure providers to operate: Supabase (database and authentication), Amazon Web Services (email delivery), Vercel (hosting), and AI model providers (content and image generation). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. If you connect a third-party platform (e.g. Square, Shopify, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend), we access only the data needed for the features you use, under that platform's authorization you grant.

Deletion and access

Email info@follow-inc.com to request a copy of your data or deletion of your account and associated data, including your imported contact list. Contacts on your list can be removed by you at any time, and their unsubscribe requests are honored automatically. When a connected platform (such as Shopify) sends us a data-deletion request for a customer or shop, we honor it.

Cookies

We use only the session cookies required to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

We will update this page as the service evolves and adjust the date above. Material changes will be announced to account holders by email.
